Anti-Backlash Delrin Nut Block
Anti-Backlash Delrin Nut Block, is a solid block Delrin metric threaded M6, M8 or M10 for threaded rod.
With this block smooth and precise shaft displacement is achieved in threaded rods.
The block has a clamping screw to adjust the pressure of this, against the rod and thus avoid the backlash (clearance of motion) effect. With this system a displacement, without gaps, with the intention of better accuracy in displacement systems that make use of these mechanisms is achieved.
The step block nut Delrin, is ideal for small CNC machines where high speeds are required, since the fine pitch provides good accuracy, while requiring minimum force of a stepping motor, and therefore is suitable for direct drive with small stepper motors. Due to the high resolution (0.00625 mm per full step in a standard engine of 1.8 degrees) vibration is negligible.
The Anti-Backlash Delrin Nut Block manufactured from A Grade Delrin (acetal homopolymer). This material is extremely durable, and usually does not require lubrication. The adjustment screw eliminates any slack preset, and due to their mechanical properties and low friction wear occurs.
For best performance of the thread, the rod must be polished stainless steel, in order to minimize friction and wear.
The example used is the Z axis of the CNC machines.
The block has two holes spaced 20mm for fixing to a plate, base or profile.
