Anti-Backlash Trapezoidal Delrin Nut Block

With this block, a smooth and precise movement of the shaft is achieved in leadscrews.
The block has a tightening screw, to adjust the pressure of this, against the spindle and thus avoid the backlash effect (movement clearance). With this system a displacement is achieved, without gaps, with the intention of having a greater precision in displacement systems that make use of these mechanisms.
The passage of the Delrin block nut is ideal for small CNC machines, where large speeds are not required, since fine pitch provides good precision, while requiring a minimum torque of a stepper motor, and therefore It is suitable for direct drive with small stepper motors. Due to the high resolution (0.00625 mm for each complete step in a standard 1.8 degree motor) the vibration is negligible.
The Delrin block anti-backlash nut is manufactured from grade A Delrin (acetal homopolymer). This material is extremely resistant, and normally does not require lubrication. The pre-set adjustment screw eliminates any slack, and due to its mechanical properties friction and minimal wear are produced.
For a better performance of the thread, the rod must be polished stainless steel, in order to minimize friction and wear.
The most used example is on the Z axis of CNC machines.
The block has two holes spaced 20mm for fixing on a plate, base or profile.
