E3D V6 Bowden Hotend 1.75 – Compatible
The E3D V6 Bowden Hotend All Metal 1.75, is an upgraded version of the popular E3D V5 hotend. The main improvements are:
- More compact metal body (smaller size)
- Greater efficiency.
- Easy maintenance and assembly
The E3D V6 Bowden Hotend is a fully metal hotend, with no plastic or PTFE (Teflon) parts, allowing nozzle temperatures up to 400 °C, unlike conventional hotend systems that allow up to 250 °C.
The E3D V6 Bowden Hotend is robust, machined with CNC, designed for a long duration and intensity of work without losing qualities over time. This means that with the E3D hotend, you can print PLA, ABS, Nylon, Laywood, Laybrick, PVA polycarbonate, HDPE and almost any type of filament that is currently available in the market and many more to come in the future.
In this version of 4.1mm, a standard Teflon (PTFE) tube for filament of 1.75 is introduced throughout the hotend, this can easily be substituted.
Easy maintenance.
Each Hotend comes with a 0.4mm nozzle or nozzle, but this is easily interchangeable with other nozzle diameters, 0.3mm or 0.5mm. The final aluminum block “Hot Zone” has a hole of 6mm diameter to introduce the heating resistor that is held with a screw of pressure and another hole where the thermistor is inserted. The core of the heater of the E3D V6 Bowden Hotend is a threaded steel tube of M6 through which the filament slides until reaching the heating block, the core is surrounded by a dissipating aluminum machining, to obtain that in this zone the filament this as cold as possible, and it is in the heating block where the final part actually melts the filament, thus obtaining a higher quality impression and the hotend not from material reabsorption problems.
The E3D V6 Bowden Hotend includes:
- Metallic hotend.
- 0.4 mm nozzle.
- Heating Ceramic Heater Resistance.
- Epcos 100K Thermistor Wired.
- Hotend fan included.
- The ceramic resistance cables and the thermistor have a length of 1 meter.
Note: For filaments of 1.75 and for indirect Bowden extrusion systems.
