MAGIC SILVER PLA INGEO 850 1.75mm 1Kg – SAKATA3D
MAGIC SILVER PLA INGEO 850 1.75mm 1Kg of SAKATA3D is a PLA PREMIUM of very high quality 100% pure, with an excellent raw material (100% virgin, without additives, etc.) and a very rigorous production and quality processes,
Made in Europe
First, the hot melt index is higher than that of standard PLA or ABS plastic. A high rate of hot fluidity often involves a lower coefficient of friction. This high hot melt index provides a great advantage because the extrusion motors have to work less to extrude the same amount of filament (that is, it prints faster).
It also has the added advantages of lower operating temperature of the extruder, less wear of the components and a lower probability of failure in the extruder gears as well as the splitting of the filament, sometimes when there is a back pressure on the hot end .
When looking at a wider spectrum of 3D printer filaments, it is common to see that materials that have a high impact resistance show low resistance to stress (and vice versa). We can appreciate that there is a compensation relationship between impact resistance and tensile strength and that it is rare to find filaments that demonstrate both properties simultaneously.
Next, let’s look at the modulus of elasticity of the 850 (that is, the tendency of the material to flex when subjected to a pressure).
So, what does it mean to have a high modulus of elasticity in 3D printing?
It assumes that the impression of long thin structures will have less deviation and will not flex when subjected to a load, thus eliminating the need to use supports or thick bases.
One of the biggest problems of the PLA is the low temperature of thermodistorsión (HDT). HDT is the temperature at which a polymer or plastic deforms under pressure. Historically, when prints required high thermal resistance, ABS plastic was the best material available. Today, the HDT of the 850 is a staggering 144 ° C, which means that it will undergo minimal (or null) deformation below that temperature. When we compare it to the typical ABS plastic and to the PLA, with its values of 85 ° C and 50 ° C respectively, it is necessary to recognize that the thermoresistance is an aspect that has improved a lot.
From the point of view of use, the filaments created with 3D850 resin present other improvements such as excellent adhesion on printing surfaces, a feature that optimizes the quality of the first layer and minimizes the risk of deformation. To this is added a zero shrinkage of the printed pieces, as well as an absence of odor during the extrusion process.
In short, the 850 shows that the compensation ratio between the tensile strength and the impact resistance can be avoided, to give, instead, a PLA impressions of high resistance to stress and impact.
Our PLA Super Premium Series filament is designed to offer hard and heat-resistant impressions, analogous to those of ABS, but without its disadvantages.
Plastic filament MAGIC SILVER PLA INGEO 850 1.75mm comes vacuum packed with desiccants, to ensure that the material can be used with its most optimal properties.

We recommend printing PLA with a temperature of 190 ºC – 210 ºC in the extruder and between 50 ºC – 60 ºC to the heating base.
For a better grip, we recommend lightly spraying the heating base with a layer of lacquer.
As it is a relatively low melting material (it starts to crystallize from 90 ºC), it is not advisable to use the pieces printed with PLA, subject them to excessively hot environments, since with high direct heat the piece degrades.
Once the packaging is opened, if not used for a long time, we recommend that it be stored in a hermetic plastic box with a desiccant, to prevent the material from absorbing moisture and thus be able to print the pieces with the maximum guarantee of quality.
