PETG Filament GRAY 1Kg – DEVIL DESIGN
The PETG filament GRAY , also known as PET or PET-G is a material 3D printers.
Its main characteristic is its hardness, therefore, it has an extremely high resistance, consequently the pieces printed with this material are very strong.
Another very important feature is that its shrinkage is very low, so it is an ideal material when you have to print large flat pieces.
PETG is a modified polyester (polyethylene terephthalate), widely used in the industry (most soda bottles are made of this material or derivatives thereof)
PETG does not degrade with water.
For industrial use, PETG is one of the most recyclable used plastics.
PETG offers a good alternative to the PLA and ABS, as it offers a higher mechanical strength than these, less shrinkage when printing the piece bends before breaking.
It does not give off odors or gases and has an excellent smooth finish.
The only drawback, due to its high resistance, is that it is necessary to melt a temperature above the PLA, but similar to the ABS.
Working temperature in the Hotend is 240-260 degrees and the bed temperature about 70 degrees.
The PETG filament does not absorb moisture, so once open PETG materials does not degrade over time. It do not need to save it with desiccants.
It is a relatively translucent compared to other materials 3D printer (including the color gamut) material.
Features PETG filament GRAY 1Kg
- Material: PET-G (PET).
- Diameter: 1.75mm ± 0.05mm.
- Brand: Devil Design.
- Weight: 1kg net.
- Roll diameter: 200mm.

Recommendations:
- Hotend temperature: 220 ° C -250°C
- Bed temperature (Heating bed): 70°C
- It is advisable to use the “useful” filament cleaning sponge.
Important note: It is recommended spraying with lacquer the glass base, since due to its mechanical properties, can “paste” strongly to the glass if you do not use lacquer 3D printer, being sometimes very difficult to disengage without using lacquer.
